About the destination: Luang Prabang, literally meaning "Royal Buddha Image," is the capital city of Luang Prabang Province in north-central Laos. The city is situated at the confluence of the Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers, north of Vientiane. The main part of the city consists of four main roads on a peninsula between the Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers. Luang Prabang is renowned for its numerous Buddhist temples and monasteries. A park at the base of Khao Pattaya. Spanning an area of 6 acres, the park was dedicated to commemorate His Majesty the King's sixtieth birthday on December 5, 1988. The gardens of the park boast a wide variety of flowering plants and offer a scenic view of Pattaya. • Anek Kuson Sala is an art gallery with high-class Chinese architecture and fine arts constructed in 1987 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Birthday. Inside is an exhibition displaying precious antiques such as the large white jade Bodhisattva Kwan Yin's image, terra-cotta soldiers and horses from the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, an emperor’s golden throne, ancient paintings, and pottery. • Silverlake Winery Pattaya. Silverlake has become popular due to its stunning natural views. Visitors can relax amidst colorful flowers, and the activities that attract visitors include riding an ATV, horse-drawn carriage, Elephant, bicycle and touring the yard by a round trip by bus.
